Volunteer – Tracey

I have a keen interest in genealogy and social history, and am a transcriber on Ancestry’s World Archive Project. However, I also wanted to do something relevant to my own local area, so got involved with the Living Archive, having attended one of their applied IT courses. This is my 2nd year of being a volunteer here. The interesting documents and photographs, I get to handle during the transcription and scanning processes, are fascinating and it is great to have this opportunity to share some of that material through this blog.

    Hi Tracey,
I have distant connections to family that grew up in Thompson Street and other local knowledge that I hope may be of some interest to you and the wider family. Gossip goes back a long time, but should be investigated before the links are lost

By all means email. Ciao ciao Peter
