  1. Derek Coombes says:

In 1972 my wife Jill (a Wolverton born resident) and I were the first couple to be married in the New Congregational Church. The wedding nearly had to be postponed because at the last minute it was realised that the ability to legally hold weddings did not automaticaly transfer from the old to the new building and a new licence had not been applied for. Luckily it went ahaed with a visiting registrar.

    Hi Derek

Do you have a photograph of your wedding?
